从历史上看,只有我们这个年代的职场把“技巧”拾得这么高。入行以后,先学办法、流程、效率、标准;学做人,先学如何隐忍、讨好上司、对付办公室政治……我们在工作上的那些美好的传统哪儿去了?曾几何时,《弟子规》是学童的必读书目,入行以后首先要拜一位师父。学工作,先学立人树德;学手艺,也是和前辈学人生道理。现在我们太急于把自己“塞”进一个行业,做成标准件,但工作是件漫长的事。让我们回过头去看一些智慧师父和谦恭弟子的故事,专注于拜师,实际是专注于成长;不是专注于塑造专才,而是专注于塑造通才。
Historically, only the workplace in our time picked up so much “skill.” Learn the ways, processes, efficiencies, and standards that you learn after you start your business. Learn how to behave first, learn how to forbear, solicit your boss and deal with office politics ... Where are our beautiful traditions at work? Once upon a time, Must-read bibliography, the first trip to worship a master. Learn to work, first establish a tree of virtue; learn technology, but also with predecessors to learn life theory. Now we are too eager to “plug” into an industry, made of standard parts, but work is a long matter. Let us go back and look at the story of some wise master and modest disciple, focusing on apprenticeship, actually focusing on growth; not focusing on shaping professionals, but focusing on shaping generalists.
