大学英语作为高等学校的一门公共基础课程,一直受到社会各界的高度关注。在教育部的积极推动下,各高校围绕大学英语教学改革,从内容到方法都进行了有益的探索和尝试,并取得了一定的成就。但是也出现了很多的问题。王克强(2008)在“大学英语教学改革的现状与出路”一文中提出:1)、过分强调四、六级考试,学生英语实用能力得不到提高;2)目前社会需要的是具有英语听、说、读、写、译综合运用能力的人才,而大学英语课程设置单一,教学内容实用性不强。
As a public basic course in colleges and universities, college English has always been highly concerned by all walks of life. Under the active promotion of the Ministry of Education, colleges and universities all around the university English teaching reform, from the content to the methods are useful to explore and try, and achieved some success. However, there have been many problems. Wang Keqiang (2008) put forward in the article entitled “Current Situation and Outlet of College English Teaching Reform”: 1) Overemphasis on the examination of CETs 4 and 6 can not improve students’practical ability in English; 2) At present, the society needs English- Listening, speaking, reading, writing and translating talents with comprehensive ability to use, while the college English curriculum is set single, teaching content is not practical.
