1995年11月初,省教委对照湖南省“普及实验教学市”验收标准,抽查了我市32所高完中、初中、中心小学,认定我市为“实验教学普及市”。为表彰奖励先进,市局又组织人员按省颁验收标准,对未检查评分的学校进行了一次全面检查。检查中,我们以《溶解和过滤》这一实验作为考察的具体内容,通过认真的检查,发现我市自然实验教学合格的学校仅为70％,可见我市的自然实验教学还有相当大的差距。我们抽查的19所中心校在自然实验教学方面,存在的问题主要有6个方面:
