On July 28, China National Electronics Technology Group Corporation developed the first GBAS satellite navigation landing system in Tianjin Binhai International Airport to carry out installation and airworthiness certification. This new system breaks down the technical limitations of traditional instrument landing systems that affect trajectory flexibility and airport throughput and provides airports with new options for safer, more efficient operations. The GBAS satellite navigation landing system can provide safer, more reliable and more accurate information, supporting multiple runways in parallel or cross-over to guide the aircraft to precisely approach and land.
