After the World War II ended, the United States’ policy of claiming compensation against Germany was formulated and implemented in a special international context until the Cold War broke out in the wake of the intensification of confrontation between the East and the West. There is a complicated interaction between its claim policy and the origins of the Cold War in Europe. Exploring the relationship between the above two issues can reveal the complexity, level and regional characteristics of the origins of the Cold War so as to further understand the nature and connotation of the Cold War and the origins and development of the Cold War.
