At the end of 1937, in order to secure the materials for the war of resistance brought by international aid, the National Government ordered the construction of an international corridor from Kunming to Wanding and then to Myanmar and India. Yunnan Province, the province’s power, to nine months time and world hard-working hard-working spirit, built a full-length 959.2 kilometers of the road - Burma Road. The road history for the next seven years was entirely written in blood: the Chinese Expeditionary Army fought Burma along the road and the Japanese troops invaded Yunnan along the road. Chinese civilians and Japanese invaders fought in western Yunnan. In northern Myanmar, from the forests and wild fields, the Japanese pirates were expelled from two southwestern China ports at the price of 200,000 lives. Face of this “blood” is still solidly hovering in the mountains of Yunnan.
