现代科学技术中的许多成果,已经或将要被古老的铸造工艺所采用。仅就铸造生产的主要工序——造型而言,先后出现了磁力造型、真空密封造型以及本文要介绍的冷冻造型等等。这些通过各种物理手段使松散的型砂紧实的方法,通称为物理造型。国外有人把物理造型看做是代表造型工艺发展过程的第三代。冷冻造型是将低温技术巧妙地应用于铸造中来的一个范例,最先是由英国布斯公司和英国氧气公司发明,不久便申请了冷冻造型法的专利。冷冻造型的问世,引起了人们浓厚的兴趣,它不仅为传统的砂型铸造工艺增加了一种新概念,而且具有简化工艺,节省材料,改善操作条件等显著效果。因此受到人们的重视,不断取得进展。
Many of the achievements of modern science and technology have been or are to be adopted by ancient foundry processes. Only the main process of casting production - modeling, there has been a magnetic modeling, vacuum sealing modeling and frozen shape to be introduced in this article and so on.
