Laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy on the inner wall of blood vessels plays an important role in laser angioplasty. The experiment measured the fluorescence spectrum of the isolated Chinese artery wall. The characteristic peaks of the normal, thrombus-blocking and atherosclerotic vascular walls were measured at 393.9 nm, 407.5 nm and 385 nm, respectively.
