The United States, “Modern tire distributors” (www.moderntiredealer.com) October 9, 2014 reported: Hankook Tire Co., Ltd. for its Clarksville, Tennessee, USA plant held a groundbreaking ceremony, which is Hankook Tire eighth Global production base and the first US factory. Bill Haslam, governor of Tennessee, state and local officials and media representatives attended the groundbreaking ceremony. Hankook said the new plant is expected to begin production in 2016, with an annual capacity of 12 million tires, mainly supplying North America
