One of the myths: taking the form of ideological education I once heard a study class for young teachers. The topic is “The founding of the People’s Republic of China.” When speaking of the founding ceremony, the teacher opened the radio cassette and opened the national anthem. He shouted, “All rise up.” At the time, the whole class was standing still and dozens of lecturers stood up spontaneously. I feel vacant. Historical teaching indeed plays an important role in socialist spiritual civilization construction and national conditions education. However, the history lesson is not a political lesson after all. History teachers can only rely on historical materials and their vocabulary, through vivid historical facts, bloody historical figures, subtle influences, and cultivate students’ feelings.
