British UK men are still optimistic about being amputated Continued climbing peak Jamie Andrew, a 44-year-old climber in Edinburgh, England, amputated his limbs as a result of a severe frostbite during a snowstorm in the Alps. However, Andrew defied difficulties and continued to climb. It is currently planned to climb the Swiss Matterhorn Mountain up to about 14,692 feet (4478 meters). After the injury, Andrew joined the world’s first mountaineering expedition consisting entirely of disabled people and successfully boarded the ice peak of Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. In addition, he became the first legless handicapped to attend and complete the London Marathon. At present, Andrew’s experience has been made into a documentary. (British “Daily Mail”)
