半个世纪来，随着全球经济、贸易、信息业的发展．中国农村，社会的进步，经济的发展，促使社会经济活动和农村人口越来越多地向集镇、建制镇（以下称小城镇）集中，小城镇人口得以快速增长。加速了小城镇发展建设的步伐。本文就村镇规划的特点和当前城镇体系规划中一些应注意的问题作一些综述。
