The role of the general gear pump depends on the relationship between the two parts of the gear and the pump body. Usually, one of them is moving and the other is fixed; the effect of the pump also depends on the speed difference between the two. This is the basic principle of a hydraulic differential transmission that is a combination of a pump and a hydraulic motor. The hydraulic differential transmission introduced in this paper has a compact structure. The pump and the oil motor are arranged in the same housing; the input shaft drives a part of the pump, and the oil motor wants to communicate with the other part of the pump.
