谭恩美的小说《灶神之妻》讲述了母亲温妮的不幸婚姻故事,揭露了男权社会对女性的压迫,对中国古代灶神的故事进行了一次变革性的改写。她在书中运用了独特的女性叙事技巧,改写了美国华裔女性长期以来的失语状态。文章拟从双层叙事视角,叙事模式和叙事声音三个方面来评析作品中的女性主义内涵,为理解谭恩美小说的独特叙述方式和技巧提供一个新的角度。
Tan Enmei’s novel “The Kitchen God’s Wife” tells the story of Mother Unni’s unlucky marriage, exposes the oppression of women by patriarchal society and makes a transformative rewriting of the story of the ancient Chinese Kitchen God. She uses unique female narrative techniques in the book, rewriting the long-awaited aphasia of American Chinese women. The article intends to analyze the feminist connotation in the works from the perspective of double narrative, narrative mode and narrative voice, and provide a new perspective for understanding the unique narrative methods and techniques of Amy Tan’s novels.
