中心钻在工厂中用的很多,由于刃部很薄容易磨损和折断,报废量很大。经我厂工具车间改进了一套工具,安装在3A64平面磨床上使用,可以刃磨用钝和折断的中心钻。把待磨的中心钻装在工具的夹头中,由磨床所附带的电动机带动工具,使中心钻作旋转和直线运动,磨出中心钻刃部的角度。经使用证明刃磨质量很好。工具构造如附图所示,各部零件都安装在底座19上。底座上有滑轨,跟滑座3的燕尾槽配合,可以滑动。滑座3用弹簧18向后拉紧,滑座上的偏心轮5用滑轮架21抵住。偏心轮5的偏心度按中心钻的斜刃角度确定。中心钻夹紧在弹簧夹头22
