“皮格马利翁效应”是不少教师已开始在教学实践中尝试并加以运用,注意在教学活动的各个环节中表现出对学生的充分信任,并给予学生更多的肯定与鼓励,使学生树立起极大的学习信心,从而获得理想的教育效果。而教师又将自已的这一心理活动通过情绪、语言和行为传染给了学生,使他们强烈地感受到来自教师的热爱和期望,变得更加自尊、自信和自强,从而在各方面取得了异乎寻常的进步,进而达到提高英语水平的目的。
