Flavonoacetic acid (FAA) is a flavonoid compound synthesized by Lipha Pharmaceutical Factory in France. It has been recommended by the United States for clinical phase I trial because of its novel structure and precancerous specific tumor activity against solid tumor models. The diethylamino ester derivatives of FAA also enter clinical Phase I studies in Europe.
