10年前,出版商的价值模式相对来说是直截了当的:出版商对作者委托的出版内容拥有版权。通过排版工人以物质形式将文字和(或)图像输出。输出的内容在照排机上变成软片。再用软片制版。然后由印刷商按照要求的数量印书。单位成本是关键动力。故出版商希望印数越多?
Ten years ago, the publisher’s value model was relatively straightforward: Publishers had copyright on the author’s published content. Output texts and/or images in physical form through a typesetting worker. The content of the output turns into a film on the imagesetter. Then use the film to make a plate. Then the printer prints the book as required. Unit cost is the key driver. So publishers want more prints?
