Soil fauna and litter decomposition are closely related, but there are few studies on the relationship between litter decomposition and soil arthropod in the understory now.Taking the plume of three kinds of ferns widely distributed in subtropical forest as experimental material, Bag method was used to study the community dynamics of small and medium-sized soil arthropods in litter decomposition of ferns in three forest types in Jinyun Mountain, Chongqing. The results showed that 11 092 small and medium-sized soil arthropods were collected in total, including 1 Acarina , While the tail was the dominant species.2 The composition of the small and medium-sized soil arthropod communities did not change much in the process of litter decomposition of ferns, with other groups such as arachnids gradually entering, the late litter decomposition, The change of composition was more obvious.3 With the decomposition of litter leaves, the number of small and medium-sized soil arthropod individuals in the litter bag kept changing rapidly, rapidly declining in the early stage of decomposition and later in the late stage. The number of taxa was “W” The maximum number of taxa appeared in May and July, while the Shannon-Wiener diversity index increased significantly with litter decomposition.4 During the process of litter decomposition, The results showed that the litter decomposition of fern affected the community structure of arthropod in small and medium-sized soil. With the decomposition of litter, small and medium-sized The composition of soil arthropod community gradually changed; the number of small and medium-sized soil arthropod individuals gradually decreased; the soil fauna of different groups gradually entered; and the community diversity gradually increased.
