一、遥感概述“遥感”(Remote Sensing)一词,最初是在1962年美国召开的第一次环境科学遥感讨论会上提出来的。顾名思义就是“遥远的感知”。即在一定距离之外,利用安置在运载工具(称遥感平台)上的仪器(称遥感器或传感器),接收来自地球表层各类地物的各种电磁波信息,并对这些信息进行加工处理,从而对不同的地物及其特性进行远距离的探测、识别和量测的综合技术。遥感基本过程如图所示。通常人们在习惯上根据遥感平台、遥感器、遥感资料和应用领域的不同进行分类。在林业工作中最常用的是根据遥感平台分为
I. Overview of Remote Sensing The term “remote sensing” was first proposed at the 1952 Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environmental Science in the United States.
