Geography, as a basic discipline, plays an important role in cultivating students’ logical thinking and thinking in images as well as in forming the correct concept of resources and environment. Scientific geography teaching must cover the cultivation of students ’intelligence and non-intellectual factors. While effectively organizing classroom teaching and completing the teaching objectives, junior high school geography teachers can not ignore the cultivation of students’ non-intellectual factors. However, the traditional geography teaching concentrates too much on the intelligence education of students, despising the non-intellectual factors to promote the independent study of students.
