本论文将以评介胡适的谱序开始,继而论述“始迁祖”在族谱文献中的意义及在宗族文化中所扮演的关键性角色。事实上,始迁祖可以做为一个家族历史的断代依据,本文将利用姓氏族谱来考述始迁祖之地位与其重要性,进而论证族谱文献之真正史料价值所在。最后再以传统社会中的姓氏家庙为例,透过家庙之大宗小宗及尊卑地位之区分,来见证始迁祖在宗族社会中所具有的地位与意涵。 This thesis will start with the comment on Hu Shi’s sequence, and then discuss the significance of “beginning to move the ancestor” in the genealogical literature and the key role played in the clan culture. In fact, the first move ancestor can be used as a basis for the generation of a family history, this article will use the surname genealogy to test the status and importance of ancestral ancestors, and thus justify the true historical value of genealogy literature. Lastly, taking the example of the family name temple in the traditional society as an example, through the distinction between the big cases of the family temples and the status of supremacy, we can witness the status and meaning of the ancestors moving in the clan society.
