[本报讯]继10月9日省委批转省教育厅党组“关于农村半日制农业中学的基本情况和意见的报告”以后,11月24日省委又召开了各地、市、县委书记和宣传部、农村工作部、教育科(局)、团委、妇联负责同志参加的电话会议,传达了中央关于农业中学的指示精神,并布置了当前发展农业中学的工作。省委强调指出,我省和全国各地一样,工农业生产将继续更大跃进,需要大量的技术人材。为了适应这种需要,必须在积极发展全日制学校的同时,大力发展半日制的农业中学,加速培养技术力量。否则,教
[Reported by the newspaper] After the provincial party committee approved the “Report on the Basic Situation and Opinions of Rural Half-day Agricultural Middle Schools” of the Provincial Party Committee of the Ministry of Education on October 9, the provincial party committee also held the secretaries of the local, municipal, and county party committees on November 24th. The conference call with the Propaganda Department, the Rural Work Department, the Education Bureau (bureau), the Youth League Committee, and the Women’s Federation’s responsible comrades conveyed the spirit of the Central Government’s instructions on agricultural middle schools and laid the foundation for the current development of agricultural secondary schools. The provincial party committee emphasized that as in the province and throughout the country, industrial and agricultural production will continue to leapfrog and require a large amount of technical personnel. In order to meet this need, we must vigorously develop full-time schools and vigorously develop the half-day agricultural secondary schools to speed up the development of technical strength.
