半个多世纪以来,在对“厦门破狱事件”的认识上,曾经有过分歧。对这些分歧问题,我想谈几点意见。第一,厦门破狱斗争胜利和当时全国革命形势发展的关系。1930年5月25日厦门破狱斗争胜利,象平地一声惊雷,震动了全省、全国和南洋各地。厦门是个孤岛,但破狱斗争却不是孤立地发生的,它是和全国革命形势的转折和发展息息相关的。
For more than half a century, there have been disagreements in understanding the “prison breaking off in Xiamen.” I would like to make a few comments on these differences. First, the relationship between the victory of Xiamen in breaking prison and the development of the revolutionary situation in the country at the time. On May 25, 1930, Xiamen broke the prison and won the victory. It thundered the whole province, the whole country and all over Southeast Asia. Xiamen is an isolated island, but the struggle against prison break does not occur in isolation. It is closely linked with the turning point and development of the revolutionary situation in the country.
