人的淋巴因子(Lymphokin)组分能够直接杀伤肿瘤细胞或者抑制人肿瘤细胞增殖,还能提高人肿瘤细胞对自然杀伤细胞(NKC)裂解作用的敏感性。过去这种抗肿瘤活性被认为由淋巴毒素产生。最近,经 J.H.Ransom(1985)研究发现,存在一种生化性质既不同于淋巴毒素(Lymphotoxin),又不同于干扰素(Interferon)和肿瘤坏死因子(TNF)的具抗肿瘤活性的淋巴因子。因为它由淋巴细胞产生并能调节靶细胞的生理状态及生长情况,称之为白细胞调节素(Leukoregulin)。
Human Lymphokin components can directly kill tumor cells or inhibit the proliferation of human tumor cells and also increase the sensitivity of human tumor cells to natural killer cell (NKC) lysis. In the past this antitumor activity was thought to be produced by lymphotoxin. Recently, a study by J. H. Ransom (1985) found that there is an anti-tumor activity of lymphokines that are biochemically different from Lymphotoxin but also different from Interferon and tumor necrosis factor (TNF). Because it is produced by lymphocytes and can regulate the physiological state and growth of the target cells, it is called leukoregulin.
