This week (May 16-May 22), the average price of 22 vegetable varieties is 3.14 yuan per kilogram, down 6.06% from 3.34 yuan last week and 11.02% higher than the 2.83 yuan a year earlier. The prices of vegetables in this week continued their declining trend. Taking the prices of spinach, cauliflower, lettuce, melon, zucchini and pepper as examples, the prices in the chain decreased sharply by 15.33%, 17.05%, 40.56%, 38.60%, 15.38% and 18.11% respectively, 2.14 yuan per kilogram last week, 2.51 yuan, 2.57 yuan, 3.26 yuan, 1.49 yuan, 3.63 yuan dropped to 1.81 yuan per kilogram this week, 2.09 yuan, 1.53 yuan, 2.00
