In the 13 years he worked for Cisco Systems, James Richardson held various positions. From August 2001 onwards, he became Chief Marketing Officer and has overall responsibility for developing and disseminating strategies and goals in business, corporate technology, industry marketing, advertising, branding, marketing and public relations. Prior to becoming chief marketing officer, Li was appointed as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Business Unit, responsible for the development of Cisco business goals and strategies and enterprise network architecture. From 1996 to 1999, he served as Cisco Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) president of operations. From 1995 to 1996, he served as vice president of operations in North America, responsible for leading the company’s largest sales team. 1992 ~ 1994, served as EMEA vice president of operations. May 1990 joined Cisco.
