教师少,班级多,学生多是导致大班型教学存在的必然,大班式教学在我国中小学中普遍存在。大班英语教学存在许多问题,学生人数多,教师的驾驭能力相对减弱;大班教学往往以教师为中心,采用传统的灌输式的教学形式;学生多,环境嘈杂,学生上课被提问的可能性很少。这些问题在不同程度上阻碍了教学质量的提高。改进教学模式,关注生个体差异,改革考评制度,创新作业批改方式,转换角色,实行分组合作学习,引入竞争机制,采用举办形式多样的竞赛和丰富多彩的课外活动有利于克服大班教学的不利因素。
Less teachers, more classes, mostly students lead to the existence of large-class teaching is inevitable, large-scale teaching in our primary and secondary schools are ubiquitous. There are many problems in English teaching in large classes, with a large number of students and relatively weak faculty. The teaching in large classes is often teacher-centered and adopts traditional forms of instillation. There are many students and noisy environments, and students are less likely to be questioned in class . To some extent, these problems have hindered the improvement of teaching quality. Improving the teaching mode, focusing on students’ individual differences, reforming the appraisal system, innovating the way of homework revising, changing roles, implementing grouping cooperative learning, introducing competitive mechanism, holding various forms of contests and colorful extracurricular activities are conducive to overcoming the unfavorable factors of teaching in large classes .
