Since 2003, prices of some main building materials in China, such assteels and concrete, have gone up a lot. It caused an obvious influence tothe production and management of the construction enterprises and real estateenterprises and even involved the solution of payment in arrears of peasantlaborers and engineering. While the macroeconomic control adopted byChinese government will be reflected in the market after a long time. Duringsome period in the future, influenced by the resource, energy and controldelay, prices of building materials, especially steels, will still be high andcontinue to influence construction and real estate industries. Basing on thispoint, this article raises the following politic suggestions: 1. Enhance theinformation issuance of prices of building materials; 2. Enhance the mac-roeconomic control on supply market of raw and processed materials; 3.Enhance the proper induction and management of contracts on businessinvitation and bid; 4. Set up the response system to the projects invested bythe government; 5. Adjust the price of economic housing in season; 6Enhance the management of engineering quality.
