一汽铸造厂在一汽集团公司为适应市场经济挑战全面推行精益生产方式的进程中,创造性地开展了以改进工艺、改进操作、改进设备、改进管理为主要内容的“四改进”活动,使工厂逐渐告别了传统生产方式,迈开了多品种、小批量、日均衡拉动式生产的第一步。生产能力由10万辆份增强加到15万辆份,出口创汇突破80万美元;产成品储备由3500吨压缩到2100吨,下降40%;流动资金占用由1400万元压缩到750万元,下降53%;设备完成好率达到98.4%,设备停工台时比过去下降57%;综合废品率控制在45%以下,居国内领先水平,经济效益高速度增长。中华全国总工会副主席张丁华视察一汽铸造厂后,对“四改进”给予高度评价,把铸造工人典型于永来称为“新时代最可爱的人”。《工人日报》重点报道了一汽推广精益生产方式的经验。一汽铸造厂推行精益生产方式“四改进”具体做法是:

The production capacity was increased from 100,000 units to 150,000 units, and the foreign exchange earned through exports exceeded 800,000 U.S. dollars; the reserve of finished products was reduced from 3,500 tons to 2,100 tons, a drop of 40%; the occupation of working capital was reduced from 14 million yuan to 7.5 million yuan. The drop rate was 53%; the equipment completion rate reached 98.4%; the equipment disposal rate dropped by 57% compared with the past; the overall scrap rate was controlled below 45%, ranking the leading domestic level, and the economic benefits grew at a high speed. Zhang Dinghua, vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, inspected the FAW foundry and highly appraised the “four improvements,” and named the foundry worker typical of Yong Lai as “the most lovely person in the new era”.
