Forest tending Thinning is a management activity to adjust the stand density since the formation of the forest until a considerable period after planting. By raising thinning to improve the lighting conditions of the forest, expanding the reserved space for nutrition occupied by forest individuals, and then producing the effect of promoting the rapid growth of forest trees and improving the forest productivity. Since the late 1990s, a large number of major projects have been set up in Daxing District, such as villages and township patches of forest, green passages, isolated areas of 12 orchards, and sandstorm source management.
