本国和出口目的国的联系越强时,企业因了解国外消费者对自身产品的需求以及建立销售网络而造成的固定成本越低。固定成本越低,企业进入该市场的概率和出口值就会越高。本文基于2000—2006年中国海关数据库和工业企业数据库匹配的农产品企业层面的出口数据,从出口目的地视角考察中国与其他国家的建交时间对企业出口的二元边际影响。实证结果表明,出口目的国与中国建立外交关系的时间对企业出口的扩展边际有显著的抑制作用,对企业出口的集约边际有显著的促进作用。
The stronger the link between the country and the country of destination, the lower the fixed costs of the business as a result of understanding the needs of foreign consumers for their products and establishing sales networks. The lower the fixed cost, the higher the probability and exit value of the firm entering the market. Based on the export data of agricultural products firms matching the China Customs database and industrial enterprise database from 2000 to 2006, this paper examines the dual marginal effects of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and other countries on the export of enterprises from the perspective of export destination. The empirical results show that the time when exporting countries establish diplomatic relations with China has a significant inhibitory effect on the expansionary margins of their exports and a significant promotion on the intensive marginalization of their exports.
