所谓素质教育是以全面提高全体学生的基本素质为根本目的,以尊重学生主体性和主动精神,注重开发人的智慧潜能,注重形成人的健全个性为根本特征的教育。也就是说,在教学中,教师要在充分发挥英语课“传授知识”的价值的同时,也要促使学生的素质水平和能力水平得到提高。因此,随着新课程改革的深入实施,教师要采用恰当的教学方法,将课堂面向全体学生,从而使学生在轻松的学习氛围中获得健康全面的发展。
The so-called quality education is to fundamentally improve the basic quality of all students as the fundamental purpose, to respect the students’ subjectivity and initiative, pay attention to the development of human potential, focus on the formation of a healthy personality as the basic characteristics of education. In other words, in teaching, teachers should give full play to the value of English teaching “impart knowledge ”, but also to promote the level of students’ quality and ability to be improved. Therefore, with the further implementation of the new curriculum reform, teachers should adopt suitable teaching methods to make the classroom accessible to all students so as to enable them to develop healthily and comprehensively in an atmosphere of relaxed learning.
