遥感是一门属于空间信息的收集、传递、处理和分析的应用科学。以遥感技术作为手段,达到研究自然环境和社会生产的目的。由于水土保持工作要求及时地、准确地、掌握水土流失地区各种自然条件的变化,土地利用现状,以及各种防治措施的效益,从而制定出合理的综合治理方案。如果仅靠常规的方法搜集资料,就远不能适应需要,特别是在数据的可靠性,试验费用及资料的适应性等方面,都存在着不少问题。而遥感新技术就为水土保持工作的开展,开辟了新的途径。
Remote sensing is an applied science that belongs to the collection, transmission, processing and analysis of spatial information. With remote sensing technology as a means to achieve the purpose of studying the natural environment and social production. Since soil and water conservation work requires promptly and accurately grasping the changes of various natural conditions in water and soil loss areas, the status quo of land use, and the benefits of various prevention and control measures, a rational comprehensive management plan is formulated. If we only rely on conventional methods to collect data, we are far from meeting the needs. In particular, there are many problems in terms of data reliability, testing costs and data adaptability. The new remote sensing technology for soil and water conservation work, opened up new avenues.
