BC水电局安装在电缆管中的15kV地下备用馈电电缆发生爆炸。事故发生于1998年9月加拿大BC省温哥华市的一家住房建筑联合企业。建筑物地下室的破坏范围很大,如果地下室附近有人的话,一定会导致严重伤亡。故障分析调查发现爆炸原因是可燃气体的积聚,这些可燃气体是聚合物电缆部件在电缆长期高阻抗故障过程中释放出来的分解物。几种异常情况必须同时发生才会形成爆炸条件。根据电缆的故障机理和重合闸电弧的影响,讨论了这次爆炸事件的原因。
The 15kV underground backup feed cable installed in the cable duct by BC Hydro was exploded. The accident occurred in September 1998 in Vancouver, British Columbia, BC, a housing construction joint venture. The destruction of the basement of the building is very extensive, and serious injuries and deaths are sure to occur if there is a person near the basement. Failure Analysis The investigation found that the cause of the explosion was the accumulation of flammable gases that were released by the polymer cable components during long-term high-impedance cable failure. Several abnormal situations must occur simultaneously to form an explosion. According to the fault mechanism of the cable and the influence of reclosing arc, the reason of the explosion was discussed.
