Last year, the EU mushroom canned imports increased by 2% to reach 44,440 tons, which was the fourth consecutive year of increase. Imports from the Netherlands accounted for 37% of the 16260t. German imports increased by 8% to 17,690 tons. 45% of Dutch goods accounted for 7900 tons; imports from China decreased by 4% to 2940 tons; imports from France, Belgium, and Denmark all increased. Imports from Italy increased by 5% to nearly 9340 t.
