The OCT design museum in Shenzhen is very pure and easy to make people think of. Different observers will bring different interpretations based on this prototype. They say that they are like pebbles and they are like water droplets. They are all related to the sea next to the base. Another kind of observation is deeply scientific fiction. This museum is like UFO. The latter seems to be more in line with the project’s architect Zhu Xi’s feelings, but in fact it is not entirely, “My design inspiration comes from James Terrell’s installation, a pure architectural form, with unlimited possibilities in the interior space. ’External tangible, internal infinite’, this is much more significant than pebbles, water droplets or flying saucers.” Zhu Xi’s interpretation is too philosophical, but he does think and practice these architectural concepts, talking about the OCT Design Museum These are unavoidable. Next, I use the three key words—infinity, art, and the future—to correspond to the three basic architectural issues that Zhu Xi thinks about, and try to interpret it. If readers are interested, they may think together.
