随着交际英语教学的发展和推广,“信息沟”(information gap)这个概念引起外语教学界的广泛关注。现已被应用于外语各科教学的实践中。本文将从以下几个方面来讨论两者之间的关系及“信息沟”在英语听说教学中的作用。(1)明确“信息沟”的概念并阐述其在外语教学中的作用。(2)以Krashen(1985)的input hypothesis为理论框架,通过实例分析在听说教学中教师应如何把握input的度,并有效的“填补”这个“信息沟”。
With the development and promotion of communicative English teaching, the concept of “information gap” has attracted widespread attention in the field of foreign language teaching. It has been applied in the practice of foreign language teaching. This article will discuss the relationship between the two aspects and the role of “information ditch” in English listening and speaking teaching. (1) Clear the concept of “information ditch” and elaborate its role in foreign language teaching. (2) Using Krashen’s (1985) input hypothesis as a theoretical framework, through an example analysis of how teachers should grasp the degree of input in the listening and speaking teaching, and effectively “fill in” the “information ditch.”
