甜菜是朔州市的主要经济作物,每年种植面积6万亩左右,主要分布在朔城区和山阴县的下湿盐碱地区。1988—1990年,我们在朔州市城关乡西什庄村进行了甜菜套种蚕豆试验,示范,一举成功。3年累计推广面积达120亩,平均亩产甜菜3793.5公斤,比对照区增产甜菜2134.5公斤,亩增产值362.87元;蚕豆平均亩产180公斤,亩增产值163元。实践证明,甜菜套种蚕豆,不仅两种作物在生长期间能够充分利用光能和地力,而且由于蚕豆具有根瘤固氮作用,从而达到增产又增收的目的。
Beets are the main cash crops in Shuozhou City. The annual planting area is about 60,000 mu, mainly distributed in Xiaocheng District and Shanyin County. 1988-1990 years, we Shuozhou City Chengxiang Township Xishizhuangcao beet intercropping beans test, demonstration, success in one fell swoop. The accumulated area of 3 years was 120 mu. The average yield of beet was 3,793.5 kilograms, which was 2134.5 kilograms more than that of the control plot. The output value of mu was 362.87 yuan. The average yield of broad bean was 180 kilograms, and the output value of mu was 163 yuan. Practice has proved that sugar beet intercropping broad beans, not only the two crops can make full use of light energy and ground force during growth, but also because of broad bean nodulation and nitrogen fixation, so as to achieve the purpose of increasing production and income.
