农村金融体制改革的整体规划要求对农村金融中的薄弱环节和主要矛盾进行深化改革,这就客观上决定了除少数经济很不发达地区外,绝大多数农村信用社要坚持走市场化、商业化道路。作为改革的对象,首先必须赋予农村信用社企业的本质特征。在市场规则下从事经营活动,实现市场价值最大化,是农村信用社发展的必然要求。市场化不仅能增强农村信用社支农的经济实力,还能够节约监管当局的监管成本,缩短信息传递的链条。商业化经营是农村信用社面对激烈市场竞争的一个必然选择。可是由于一些不利因素的存在,农村信用社的市场化、商业化道路坎坷不平。面对新形势,站在新的起点上,农村信用社要积极思考的是如何做好市场化、商业化转型,推动自身的可持续发展。
