A new type controllable damping-viscous damper is designed and manufactured.Diffierent value of the damping parameters can be setted in different work stage of the damper.In this paper the basic principle and the design & construction of the damper are presented,and two stages or multistage to control the damping parameters are proposed.It deduces the calculation formula of the controllable damping-viscous damper’s output force adopting exponential fluild as damp materisl.Which above provides a basis for research and application of the damper.
