近几年来数字出版得到了快速发展,随之而来的是全媒体出版的时代。出版业把发展的方向依托给数字化出版,追求以最小的投入达到最优质的传播的同时,可以获取最大利益的目的 ,这就要求全媒体出版必须要以经济的原则,把各个不同媒体进行合理的综合运用。虽然全媒体时代得到了快速的发展,但是从本质上来讲,全媒体并没有取代出版编辑在社会上特有的角色,然而新媒体却给出版编辑的工作角色带来了不可忽视的影响。在面对样式新颖的全媒体,出版编辑要想不被淘汰,就必须做到对每一种类型的全媒体进行了解和掌握,努力做到属于自己独特风格的出版编辑;为了可以使出版业的市场得到更好的发展,并且可以使出版业更加规划,这就需要出版编辑对数字化出版的市场加以研究和了解,以方便出台更为合理的相关政策;同时,又因为广大群众的需求发生了改变,这种改变对于出版编辑来讲,不单单是一种挑战,同时还是一种机遇。由此可以看出,全媒体时代的到来,正是对出版编辑综合能力和素质的一种考察。
