In order to promote further research on the current major Latin American reality, the South American Research Laboratory of the Latin American Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences recently sponsored the “Symposium on Privatization in Latin America,” and nearly 30 scholars attended the seminar on privatization in Latin America . Now the main contents of the seminar are summarized below. First, the basic situation of privatization in Latin America.
