近千年来,地球东部的山川大地上,一直绽放着一种美丽又绚烂的人文和艺术之花,它就是中华民族伟大的民间创造—年画,其影响曾衍至东亚和南亚一些国家,并早在一个世纪之前就成为欧美及日本人文学者关注与研究的对象。始自2002年,我国将年画视为珍贵的文化遗产进行了历史上首次地毯式的田野调查,以及科学整理和系统保护,从而使我们得以全面审视中国木版年画的历史与现状,并深刻地认识到它在中华文化中重要的位置及所拥有的非凡的价值。
For nearly a thousand years, the earth and mountains in the eastern part of the earth have been blooming with a beautiful and splendid flower of humanity and art.
