Painting is indeed a kind of illusion that can make people happy. The artist enjoys the happiness brought by painting in the process of painting, concentrating on creating his own space and immersing in the great joy of creation. The success of painting can also bring them great sense of accomplishment. Perhaps painting is indeed a way to escape the pain, perhaps painting is just a happy illusion.
