蛴螬是我省旱田作物重要害虫之一。它取食农作物的地下组织,如种子、嫩棍、块茎……等,使幼苗不能正常生长发育,逐渐死亡,最后形成缺苗断垄。一般被害率为30％左右,个别田块因受害严重,不能立苗,只得改种。我省为害农作物的蛴螬优势种,据1979—1984年先后在阜阳、宿县两地区及合肥市所属县调查,主要是暗黑鳃龟(Holotrichia Parallela Motschulsky)、铜绿丽金龟(Anomala corpulenta Motstchulsky)和华北大黑鳃金龟[Holotrichia oblita(Faldermann)]。多年来,我国在防治蛴螬方面,除采用农业防治
