中世纪晚期,英国的劳工立法是领主阶级为应对人口危机,由王室政府主导的一场大规模的社会立法运动。劳工法的发展历程体现了上层建筑与社会经济之间的互动:一方面,劳工法的内容及其实施力度呈现了减弱的趋势,这一过程见证了封建旧秩序的衰落;另一方面,劳工法不断颁布,对当时的社会与政治产生了重大影响。劳工法在很大程度上缓和了劳工危机,维持了社会稳定,旧秩序的诸多内容因此得以保留。同时,君主政府借此在社会经济领域逐渐树立起了新的统一国家权威,促进了国家政权从分散的封建式政权向统一集权的民族国家政权的转变。
In the late Middle Ages, the British labor legislation was a large-scale social legislative movement led by the royal family in response to the population crisis and led by the royal government.
