Recently, according to the “Guardian” website, some of the world’s leading cybersecurity researchers disclosed that they have already started to sue for prosecution because of investigations into network infrastructure vulnerabilities. U.S. anti-hacking laws may reduce cyber security. Information security professionals are concerned about the U.S. Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA). In their view, the judiciary and lawyers are overreacting to the search for loopholes in the Internet. In fact, most of the loopholes in the screening work are not malicious. The legal punishment is too harsh and the content is ambiguous without considering the actual situation.
