Objective To investigate the contamination of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in mineral water and packaged drinking water in Jiangxi Province, analyze the causes and propose specific control measures. Methods The filter membrane method of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in GB / T 8538-2008 was used to test the quality of Jiangxi Province Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Institute. May 24, 2015 - May 24, 2016 49 mineral water and 150 packaging drinking Water samples for testing. Results Two samples of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were detected in 49 samples of mineral water. The positive rate was 4.1%. Twenty-two samples of Pseudomonas aeruginosa were detected in 150 samples of packaged drinking water, the positive rate was 14.7%. According to statistics, a total of 104 typical strains were detected in the positive samples of mineral water, of which 100 strains of cyanobacteria and 4 strains of non-cyan-producing bacteria were 96.2% and 3.8% of the typical strains respectively. A total of 2 169 strains were identified, including 1 856 strains of cyanobacteria and 313 strains of non - cyan - producing bacteria, accounting for 85.6% and 14.4% of the typical strains, respectively. Conclusion Both Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were found in both mineral water and packaged drinking water. However, the contamination rate of packaged drinking water was significantly higher than that of mineral water, and the pollution level was high. The detection rate of positive strains was as high as 270 cfu / 250 ml. Relevant departments should intensify the inspection of mineral water, especially packaged drinking water, and ensure the safety of residents’ finished drinking water.
