沈阳重机厂在一机部机电所的指导与协助下,于1978年在工频感应加热淬火的基础上,采用工频双感应器对冷轧工作辊进行加热淬火,使它的质量有了提高。试验工作时感应器功率的匹配、加热特性、温度场的分布、奥氏体化时间等作了一些摸索,与传统工频感应加热淬火作了质量指标比较,得出了用两种工艺方法淬火后的淬硬层深度、硬度的均匀性、硬度沿截面变化、以及表面硬度等方面的数据。从结果上看,新的工艺方法在质量指标上都有不同程度的提高,因此在不具备双频淬火生产冷轧工作辊的条件下,这种工艺方法对提高冷轧工作辊的质量还是有一定意义的。
